To lay down the procedure for Standard weights Calibration and Control.
- SCOPE
The SOP is applicable in Stores for standard weights calibration and control.
- RESPONSIBILITY
Stores Personnel : To follow the procedure
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Store-Incharge : For system Compliance
PROCEDURE
Ensure availability of required standard weights for calibration of weighing alances.
Ensure standard weights are calibrated and stamped by Weights and Measurement Department from (Government agency), before use.
Ensure the availability of calibration certificates in work area.
Ensure the standard weights are cleaned and placed in poly bag and kept back in the trolley.
Standard weights shall be kept in SS Trolley under lock and key facility.
