To lay down a procedure for check the pressure differential in microbiological lab.
- SCOPE:
This procedure is applicable for procedure for check the pressure differential in microbiological lab.
- RESPONSIBILITY:
Microbiologist
- ACCOUNTABILITY:
QC Manager.
- PROCEDURE:
- Check that the instrument is clean & free from dust.
- If found the dust on magnetic gauge mop with 70% IPA.
- Check the reading in magnetic gauge.
- Least count of magnetic gauge in microbiological area is 2.
- Check the pressure differential of Air lock I, Air lock II & LAF room and note down.
- Acceptance Criteria of pressure differential is not less than 5 Pascal.
- Frequencies: twice in a day (morning and evening).

Trainer : Manager – Quality Control
Trainees : Staff of the microbiology departments
