To lay down a procedure for destruction of sample after analysis.
- SCOPE:
This procedure is applicable for procedure for destruction of sample after analysis.
- RESPONSIBILITY:
QC Officer/ QC Executive
- ACCOUNTABILITY:
QC Manager.
- PROCEDURE:
- The type of samples for destruction may be Raw materials, Packing Material, bulk, finished goods & Intermediate products.
- Keep the samples after analysis in washing area, where a container is specified for “Sample for destruction after analysis”.
- Crush the samples and dissolve in suitable diluent.
- After dissolving the sample check the pH.
- If solution is acidic or basic, neutralize the solution with acid or base.
- After neutralization of the solution destroy in wash basin for ETP process
- Packing Materials sample cut in small part and keep in waste bin for scarp use.
- Record maintain of destruction in log book.
