- OBJECTIVE
To lay down the procedure for operation of Water Chiller.
- SCOPE
This SOP is applicable in Engineering for operation of Water Chiller.

- PROCEDURE
- Primary Checks:
- Check and ensure the water level in the cooling m/c and in cold well tank. If less fill the water.
- Ensure that the dynaview has not shown any alarms.
- Starting Procedure:
- Switch ON the main panel water Cooler. It will be always in ON mode.
- Check and ensure the dynaview has energized.
- Push the start button of primary pump. Ensure to flow mode active in PLC screen.
- Push the start button of secondary pump. Ensure to flow mode active in PLC screen.
- Select auto mode of dynaview, it shows wait to start, if it is showing alarm then rectify it.
- Check and ensure the cooling fan start or not, if not then rectify.
- Cooler mode show running limit, then Cooler is in healthy condition.
- Check and ensure the active chilled water set point is not less then 7+ 1°C.
- Check the various parameter according to attach Annexure – I.
- Primary Checks:
Stopping Procedure:
- Selection
stop mode of dynaview, Chiller mode will show stopped after 1 minute.
- Switch OFF the primary pump.
- Switch OFF the secondary pump
- Check and ensure the cooling tower fan has stopped.
- Switch OFF the main panel of Cooler
