The SOP is applicable in Stores for dispensing of liquid material.

PROCEDURE
Dispensing of liquid raw materials
Dispensing of liquid raw materials shall be done in liquid dispensing designated area.
Material is taken from the drums / carboy.
Now transfer the material in the pre-weighed container by using well cleaned barrel pump.
The accurate quantity of material is weighed on weighing balance.
Weigh the required quantity as per the Material Requisition Slip.
Dispensing label shall be affixed on the body of the container.
Specimen format for the dispensing label is as Affix on container.
The remaining quantity of the raw material if any is to be noted on status label.
Remaining quantity weighment details shall be attached on the container.
The container of the remaining material shall be transferred to original place.
Keep barrel pump at specified area after cleaning.
