- OBJECTIVE
The objective of this document is to provide the procedure for Cleaning & sanitization of Utensils, Trays and Trolleys.
- SCOPE
This SOP is applicable for Cleaning & sanitization of Utensils,Trays and Trolleys.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY
Production Chemist & Operator : To follow the procedure
4.0 ACCOUNTABILTY
QA & Head Production : For system compliance
5.0 PROCEDURE
5.1 Transfer the Utensils, Trays and Trolleys to the washing area.
5.2 Take 2% Teepol and hot water in a container.
5.3 Clean the Utensils, Trays and Trolley with teepol solution and scrub with nylon brush.
5.4 Wash the Utensils, Trays and Trolleys with sufficient quantity of water.
- Finally rinse the Utensils, Trays and Trolleys with sufficient quantity of purified water.
5.6 Wipe up the Utensils, Trays and Trolleys with lint free cloth.
5.7 Put the all trays to the Trolleys.
- Take the
Utensils, Trays and Trolleys to their specified area.
- Finally Mop the utensil, Tray & Trolley with 70 % IPA using lint free cloth.
5.10 Affix the status label “CLEANED” to the Utensils and Trolleys duly filled and signed by Production & QA Person.
6.0 TRAINING
Trainer : Head – Production Department
Trainees : Production Chemist, drying operator and QA chemist.
7.0 DISTRIBUTION
Master Copy : QA Department
Controlled Copy : Production Department
Display Copy : Production Department (If Required)
