OPERATION PROCEDURE FOR PURIFIED WATER PLANT

1. OBJECTIVE

         To lay down the procedure for operation procedure for purified water plant.

• SCOPE

This SOP is applicable in operation procedure for purified water plant.

• PROCEDURE:
  • Ensure the purified water plant is clean and dust free.
  • After preparation of RO water or during RO water preparation.
  • Start the pump for purified water preparation.
  • Ensure the all valve is open for drain the water.
  • Back wash the Cation for 15 minute and then close it.
  • Back wash the Anion for 15 minute and then close.
  • Ensure the all valve is closed after back wash of cation and anion.
  • Operate the mixed bed.
  • If conductivity or pH value is not give the under acceptance criteria; open the valve and drain the water.
  • Conductivity and pH value reading fill in the format F-SOP/EN/014/02-01; check the value after 1 hour and check continuously.
  • Water pass through UV tubes; maintain the record of UV light burning record.
  •  Store the purified water in purified water storage tank and start the water circulation pump.
  • Maintain the record of operation log OF purified water plan.
