PROCEDURE FOR OPERATION & CLEANING OF PASS BOX

  1. OBJECTIVE:

This SOP Describes the Procedure for operation and cleaning of pass box for Microbiological Analysis.

  • SCOPE:

This SOP is Applicable to the Procedure for operation and cleaning of pass box for Microbiological Analysis.

  • RESPONSIBILITY:

 Microbiologist

  • ACCOUNTABILITY:

Head Quality Control.

  • PROCEDURE
    • Operation:-
      • Open the pass box by using handle; close the pass box by using handle.
      • Do not open the pass box for long time about 15 second.
      • If the required the UV Tubes press the UV button for ON the UV light.
      • Only one side door open in one time.
    • Cleaning:-  
      • Open the pass box and ensure the UV light is OFF.
      • Take 70% IPA and mop with dry lint free cloth.
      • Frequencies of cleaning daily working day or if required.
      • Maintain the cleaning record of pass box in Format.
  • TRAINING:

Trainer   : Manager – Quality Control

Trainees : Staff of the microbiology departments

  • DISTRIBUTION:

Master Copy                  :           QA Department

Controlled Copy            :           Microbiology Department

Display Copy                 :           Microbiology Department (If Required)
