- OBJECTIVE:
This sop describes the sampling procedure of water for microbiological analysis.
- SCOPE:
This Sop Is Applicable to the sampling procedure of water for microbiological analysis.
- RESPONSIBILITY:

QC Manager.
- PROCEDURE
- Sample bottle sterilize at 1210C & 15 lbs for 30 minute and maintain the record.
- Take the clean & dry 500ml of sterilize glass bottle in SS basket.
- Affix the label on sample bottle.
- Mop the outer surface of loop with IPA 70% & drain the water for 5-20 seconds and take the water sample in glass bottle about 250ml.
- Performed the microbiological analysis.
- Note down the sample detail in Water Sample Inward Register.
- After take the sample as per schedule note down in Sampling Inward for Water.
- Generate the A.R.No. AR/RW/XXYYYY for Raw Water
- AR is Analytical Report.
- RW is Raw Water.
- XX is year.
- YYYY is serial no. 0000 to 9999.
- Generate the A.R.No. AR/RO/XXYYYY for RO Water
- AR is Analytical Report.
- RO is RO Water.
- XX is year.
- YYYY is serial no. 0000 to 9999.
- Generate the A.R.No. AR/PW/XXYYYY for Purified Water
- AR is Analytical Report.
- PW is Purified Water.
- XX is year.
- YYYY is serial no. 0000 to 9999.
