SOP FOR CLEANING PROCEDURE OF GELATIN FEEDING PIPE

OBJECTIVE

To describe the procedure for cleaning of gelatin feeding pipe. 

2.0       SCOPE

This SOP is applicable for procedure of cleaning of gelatin feeding pipe.

3.0       RESPONSIBILITY

            Production Chemist & operator      : To follow the procedure

4.0      ACCOUNTABILTY:

      QA & Head Production                  : For system compliance

5.0  PROCEDURE
5.1 Cleaning of gelatin feeding pipe:
5.1.1 Affix ‘TO BE CLEANED’ Status label from gelatin feeding pipe.
5.1.2 Take gelatin-feeding pipe in to the washing area.
5.1.3 Pass Hot water thoroughly inside of the gelatin-feeding pipe to remove residue.
5.1.4  Finally rinse with purified water.
5.1.5 Clean the out sides by soaking lint free cloth.
5.1.6 Keep the gelatin- feeding pipe for air dry
5.1.7 Intimate IPQA Executive for clearance of gelatin feeding pipe.
5.1.8 Affix the label “CLEANED” on Gelatin feeding pipe after getting clearance from IPQA Executive.

6.0       TRAINING

Trainer   : Head – Production Department

             Trainees : Staff and machine operator of the gelatin section and QA chemist.

      7.0       DISTRIBUTION

 Master Copy                    :          QA Department

  Controlled Copy              :          Production Department

 Display Copy                   :           Production Department
